About Resurrection Morning Church
Your Church in Lone Oak, Texas
WE VALUE
THE PRESENCE OF GOD - HOLY SPIRIT
• The greatest commandment is to love the Lord God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, we will seek to honor, revere and pursue God’s presence in our lives through intimate prayer and communion with Him and praise and worship to Him.
" You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength." Deuteronomy 6:5
THE PERSPECTIVE AND PURPOSES OF GOD - WORD OF GOD
• The written word of God is the expression of His heart to us, we will give ourselves to the study of God’s word to discover more about God and how He views us and the world that we live in. We will discover and fulfill God’s plans for us in this world and our purpose on this earth.
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for [c]instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16
THE PEOPLE OF GOD - BODY OF CHRIST
• God made man in His image and that the second greatest commandment is to love our neighbor as ourselves, we are called to live in unity with one another in the body of Christ. Where there is unity, God commands a blessing. We will honor and value people of all backgrounds, walks of life, nationalities, ages and social status. We will commit ourselves to walking in fellowship and unity with one another.
"Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”" Matthew 22:37-40 "
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." Collosians 3:13 &14
THE PASSION OF GOD - EVANGELISM
• Jesus came to seek and save those that were lost and that the great commandment is to go and make disciples of all nations, we will commit ourselves to evangelizing the world and disciple the believer.
"And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen." Matthew 28:18-20
